Getting There
- Location: The remaining Arch stands in front of the Ponte Palatino. It is best viewed either from the bridge or from the south of Tiber Island.
History
- Built in 179 BCE, the stone arches were added in 142 BCE.
- It was the first stone bridge in Rome.
- Only one Arch is visible today, south of Tiber Island.
- It connected the Forum Boarium with the Trastevere area.
