Roman Aqueduct of Segovia

• The Roman Aqueduct of Segovia is a bridge carrying water from the river Frio 11 m (17 km) to Segovia in Castile and Leon, Spain.

History

• There are 36 arches on two levels, built with granite blocks without using mortar.
• It is considered to have been built during the first or beginning of the second century CE under Trajan (98-117 CE).
