    • He brought the Rhine Legions from Germany to oust Otho.

    • After eight months, Vespasian brought his eastern Legions to occupy Rome, leading to Vitellius being executed by his own legionaries, when they threw him down the Gemonian Stairs.
  • WHERE BURIED:
    • The ancient Sources differ, his body was either thrown into the Tiber or his wife had him buried.

  • Otho was the third Emperor in the Year of the Four Emperors.
  • He brought the Rhine Legions from Germany to oust Otho.
  • However, after eight months, Vespasian brought the Eastern Legions to occupy Rome, and Vitellius was executed by his own legionaries, by being thrown down the Gemonian Stairs.
