- The Porta Maggiore is a city gate in the Aurelian Walls in Rome. It is located at the Piazza di Porta Maggiore.
- It was built in 52 CE to carry two Aqueducts of Ancient Rome, the Aqua Claudia and the Aqua Anio Novus. Modern Trams run through the Arches of the Aqueduct.

- The two Stops are on opposite sides of the Arch and Aqueduct.
- From the main Rail Station Termini.
- Termini is on Line A and B of the Rome Metro. Then take the Tram from Termini: Tram 5, 14, which is adjacent to the Main Rail Station.

History
- Porta Maggiore is a double archway made from white travertine limestone which carries the two Aqueducts of Ancient Rome.
- The two channels are visible from the side, one above the other.
- The archway was created in 52 CE by the Emperor Claudius for the Aqueducts to cross over two Roman roads, the Via Labicana and Via Praenestina.
- The Gate was later included into the Aurelian Walls by Aurelian between 271-5 CE.
