Arenes de Montmartre

• Les Arenes de Montmartre is a Roman style Theatre located at 25 Rue Chappe beside the Sacre-Coeur basilica of Montmartre in Paris.
• The Garden and Arena is closed to the Public except during music concerts in August, known as Les Arenes Lyriques.

History

• The Arena was created in the style of a Greek and Roman Theatre in 1941 by the Montmartre Association of Les Petits Poulbots, on the site of a former orchard.
