Aristarchus of Samos

• Aristarchus of Samos (310-230 BCE) was a Greek Astronomer and Mathematician who was the first to describe a Heliocentric Universe.
• He was a contemporary of the Greek Astronomer Eratosthenes (c.275-194 BCE).
