- Sea Mills is a suburb of Bristol which was the Roman port of Portus Abonae and was used to cross the Avon and reach the Roman Legionary Fort at Caerleon in Wales.

- Located at Queens road, Bristol.
- The museum holds artefacts that were excavated from the buried site of Pagan’s Hill Roman Temple at Chew Stoke (not open to the Public).
- It also holds the Orpheus mosaic removed from the site of a Roman Villa at Newton St. Loe (not open to the Public).
Roman Roads
- Iter XIV of the Antonine Itinerary shows a Roman Route passing from Sea Mills to Bath.
