Castlesteads

• Castlesteads was a Roman Fort called Camboglanna located on Hadrian's Wall near Stanwix, Carlisle.
• Unusually, the fort was built in the Vallum behind the Wall and on the gorge of the River Cambeck. No Remains of the fort are visible today.
