Celsus

  • Aulus Cornelius Celsus (c. 25 BCE-c. 50 CE) was a Roman Encyclopedist famous for his Treatise on Medicine, which was part of a much larger Encyclopedia, now a Lost Work.
  • Nothing is known about the Life of Celsus.

    • An Encyclopedia of Medicine in 8 Books.
    • It was part of a much larger Encyclopedia covering many subjects, but now lost.
