Overview
Chiltern Open Air Museum is a unique outdoor museum located in the heart of the Chiltern Hills, Buckinghamshire. Set across a beautiful 45-acre site, the museum is home to more than 30 carefully rescued and restored historic buildings from the local area.
The collection showcases a wide range of traditional architecture, including barns, farm buildings, and historic houses dating from the Tudor period onwards. Visitors can also explore a detailed reconstruction of an Iron Age roundhouse, dating to around 50 CE, offering insight into life in prehistoric Britain.
