  • The Dinaric Alps, also known as the Dinarides, are a Mountain range in Southeastern Europe, Dalmatia.
  • The mountain range passes through the modern countries of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

Josephina Road

  • This was a Road from the Senj on the Adriatic Sea that connected with the Pannonian Plain via two Passes through the Dinaric Alps:
    • Vratnik Pass (Alt. 2,296 ft – 700m)
      • between Senj and Brinje. It is 14 miles (23km) long.
    • Kapela Pass (altitude 2,910 ft – 887m)
      • between Brinje and Modrus.
