Dolmen

A Dolmen, also known as a Cromlech, is a Neolithic Monument usually consisting of one raised horizontal stone slab supported by three standing stones.

Dolmens were often covered with earth to form a Passage Grave, using many more stones.
They are located in large numbers in Ireland, France (Brittany), Britain and Scandinavia, and throughout Europe.
Dolmens can also be found in India, but Korea holds the record with over one third of the World’s Dolmens numbering around 35,000.
