  • A Dolmen, also known as a Cromlech, is a Neolithic Monument usually consisting of one raised horizontal stone slab supported by three standing stones.

Description

  • They are located in large numbers in Ireland, France (Brittany), Britain and Scandinavia, and throughout Europe.
  • Dolmens can also be found in India, but Korea holds the record with over one third of the World’s Dolmens numbering around 35,000.
