Ennius

  • Quintus Ennius (c. 239-c.169 BCE) also known as Ennius, was a Roman Poet considered to be the Father of Roman Poetry.
  • He is noted for Annales, a History of Rome, which although a lost work, was reconstructed during the 16th century from quotations by other authors.
