John Chrysostom

  • John Chrysostom (347-407 CE) was Archbishop of Constantinople.
  • He is one of the Greek Fathers of the Early Christian Church.

Biography

  • Born in Antioch, he was appointed Deacon of Antioch in 381 CE for 12 years.
  • He wrote a great number of Works and is recognised as a Saint by the Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church.
