- Julia the Elder (30 October 39 BCE-14 CE), also known as Julia Augusti Filia, was the daughter of Augustus (27 BCE-14 CE).
- She was also the wife of Tiberius (14-37 CE) and grandmother to Caligula and Claudius and great grandmother to Nero.

- Julia the Elder’s Father was Augustus, her Mother was Scribonia and her first husband was Agrippa, her second husband was Tiberius.

Biography
- In 2 BCE Augustus sent his daughter, Julia the Elder, into Exile to Ventotene in the Pontine Islands for 5 years. She was allowed to be accompanied by her mother, Scribonia, but was not allowed any visitors.
- The reason given was for committing adultery and Treason and several men close to her, in particular her long time lover, Sempronius Gracchus, were also exiled.
- Around 4 CE, Augustus released her and she moved to Reggio Calabria (Reghium), but she was never permitted to return to Rome.
