Kapela Pass

  • The Kapela Pass is one of two Passes in the Dinaric Alps between Brinje and Modrus in Croatia and has an altitude of 2,910 ft (887m).
  • The other is the Vratnik Pass at 2,300 ft (700m) between Senj and Brinje.

Josephina Road

  • The Josephina Road was a Salt Road in Croatia in use during the Roman Period which connected the Adriatic with the Pannonian Plain via two Passes through the Dinaric Alps.
  • It started at Senj and ended at Karlovac.
