• Korea is a peninsular that has a border with China in the northwest and Russia in the northeast. Across the Korea Strait to the south lie the islands of Japan.
• Since 1945 it has been divided into North Korea and South Korea by the 38th Parallel.

• Korea has 40% of the world’s Dolmens, numbering around 30,000.
• Other Dolmens are found in the British Isles, Northern Europe, Northern France and the Islands in the Mediterranean.
