Kultepe

  • The Ruins of Kultepe is an Assyrian Monument comprising a Tell and lower City dating from c. 1,900 BCE.
  • The Archeological Site is located 14 miles (22km) northeast of Caesarea in Turkey.

Archeological Finds

  • The Finds have included 20,000 Cuneiform Tablets  and Cylinder Seals.
  • Some of these recorded trade between Assyrian mechants and Assur, the capital of Assyria located in Mesopotamia.
