Lateran Palace

• The Lateran Palace is a Roman Palace constructed in Rome by Constantine I in c. 312 CE, and used as the principal residence of the Popes until 1309 CE.
• The Palace is now part of the Vatican Historical Museum tracing the history of the Papal States.

• Location: Piazza di S. Giovanni en Laterano, 4, Caelian Hill, next to the Basilica of St. John Lateran in Rome.
