- The Archeological site of Lixus is an ancient city located next to the modern port city of Larache in Morocco. The site has been continuously inhabited since it was founded by the Phoenicians in the 8th-7th century BCE.
- The Roman port of Lixus was in the Province of Mauretania Tingitana. Lixus is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
