Logos

• Logos refers to the power of convincing an audience of an argument by the speaker using reason.

Pathos

• refers to the power to convince an audience of an argument by the speaker evoking strong feelings, often of pity.

Ethos

• refers to the power of convincing an audience of an argument by the authority and credibility of the speaker.

Bathos

• Bathos is the opposite of Pathos where strong feelings are evoked.
• Bathos refers to a sort of anticlimax, an abrupt and ludicrous transition from an elevated state to either an ordinary state, or into feelings of excessive sentimental exhibition of Pathos.
