- World Pastry Cup
- Held at Eurexpo. More than 7,000 contestants from around the world compete in this prestigious pastry making competition.
- Salon International de la Restauration, de l’Hotellerie et de l’Alimentation
- Held at Eurexpo. An International Trade Fair for Food and Hotel Professionals. This is a Biannual Event occurring in odd years. Lyons is considered to be the Gastronomic Capital of France.

- Furniture Trade Fair held at Eurexpo Biannual Event held in odd years.
March
- Salon Residence Bois
- Wooden Home Fair, held at Eurexpo.
- Lyons International Fair
- Handicraft, Carpets, Giftware, Jewellery and Leather items, held at Eurexpo.
April
- Lyons to Charbonnieres Car Rally
- starts Lyon last day of March and arrives in Charbonnieres on 1st April.
May
- Nuits Sonores
- Dance till dawn to electronic music in venues across Lyons.
June
- Biennual Theatre Festival for Young Audiences
- Held in odd years. Ten days of presenting 30 Shows simultaneously on 12 Stages and Open Spaces around Lyons, by French and International Artists.
July
- Art on the Square
- Held in Place Bellecour is a Biennial Contemporary Arts Festival held in odd years.
- Bastille Day 14 July
- Street Parties and Fireworks o Fourviere Hill overlooking Lyons.
August
- Nuits de Fourviere Festival
- Theatre, Dance and Music held in the Roman Amphitheatres of Fourviere Hill overlooking Lyons.
September
- Tupinieres Pottery Festival
- Held in the Place St. Jean in front of Lyons Cathedral.
- Tendances Maisons Fair
- For Home and Garden, held at Eurexpo.
- International New Generation Film Festival
- Held at L’Embarcadere,for digital film media only.
October
- Red Carpet Antiques Festival
- Held on the first Thursday in the Rue Auguste Comte, where a red carpet is rolled out in this street, the centre of Lyons’ Antique district, with accompanying live music.
- Automobile Salon
- Held at Eurexpo is a biennal Event held in odd years, displaying all the latest Cars.
- La Semaine du Gout
- Various Events across Lyons, celebrating gastronomy and Regional Food. Part of a National Event across France.
- Grand Prix de Tennis de Lyon
- Held on the indoor hard courts of the Palais des Sports de Gerlain. It is part of the Association of Tennis Professionals World Tour Series.
November
- Guignol and Father Christmas
- Held at the Puppet Theatre La Maison du Guignol, St Georges District, where Father Christmas visits Guignol in a Punch and Judy style enactment.
- Beaujolais Nouveau Festival
- It’s arrival is celebrated every year, on the third Thursday in November, by Bars and Restaurants all over Lyons.
December
- Festival of Lights
- An illuminated Procession with Concerts and other Events.
- Festival de Musique Ancienne de Lyons
- Held at Place Carnot. A Christmas market with regional foods, arts and crafts stalls.
- Lyon Christmas Market
- Held in the Vieux Lyons District, with Classical, Baroque and Renaissance Concerts.
