Mead

• Mead is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey with water, whilst flavours can be altered by the addition of spices or hops.
• Mead has been made for thousands of years, dating back to Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece and Ancient China. The Medieval Monasteries continued the tradition of making Mead.
