• Menkaure was Pharaoh of Egypt between c.2530 BCE.
• He was the son of Khufu, known as Mycerinus to the Greek Historians.

• The Pyramid of Menkaure (or Mycerinus) (c. 2,530 BCE) is the third largest Pyramid at Giza.
• Herodotus wrote that it was built by Mycerinus (Menkaure) (c. 2,530 BCE).
