Mount Elbrus

  • Mount Elbrus is a dormant stratovolcano in the western Caucasus mountains, located in the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic of southern Russia.
  • It has a height of 18,510 ft (5,642m) making it the highest mountain in Russia and in Europe, and the tenth highest peak in the world. It is 2,735 ft (835m) higher than Mont Blanc.
