- The Natural History or ‘Naturalis Historia’ is a Work published by Pliny the Elder between 77-79 CE.
- It was the equivalent of a modern Encyclopaedia, but with no indexing system. Instead it was divided into 10 Volumes with 37 Books on each subject.
