- Nora is the site of a pre-Roman and Roman port town of the same name near Pula close to Cagliari in Sardinia.
History
- It was first conquered by Carthage then became a part of the Roman Empire after 238 BCE.
- It is documented in the Peutinger Table Road Map (3rd-4th century CE).
- Part of the site has now sunk below the sea.
- It was built on a peninsular with two harbours, one on each side.
