Novae

• Novae was a Roman Legionary Fortress whose Ruins lie on the Danube near Svishtov in Bulgaria.
• Constructed c. 45 CE, it formed part of the Limes Moesiae and housed the Legio I Italica from 70 – c. 430 CE.

Novae Visitor Centre

• Location: 52, 5250 Svishtov, Bulgaria.
• The Site has been excavated and can be visited and is open to the Public.
