  • Perigueux is a cathedral city located on the River Isle in the Nouvelle Aquitaine Region of Southwestern France.

History

  • During the Roman Period it was known as Vesunna or Civitas Petrocoriorum, capital of the Petrocorii Gallic Tribe, in the Province of Gallia Aquitania.
