  • Pont Alexandre III is an iconic bridge over the river Seine in Paris which connects Les Invalides with the Grand Palais. It is named after Tzar Alexander III of Russia after he signed the Franco-Russian Alliance in 1892.
  • The bridge was completed in 1900 in the style of the Beaux-Arts with Art Deco street lamps, Cherubs, Nymphs and Winged Horses. It has featured in many films.
