Pyramid Texts

• The Pyramid Texts are probably the oldest religious texts in the world, some dating back to 2,400-2,300 BCE.
• The Texts were written in Ancient Egyptian to uniquely describe the Pharaoh, his remains and his journey into the Afterlife. They were inscribed on the walls and sarcophagi of the Saqqara Pyramids.
