• During the Pharaoh‘s Jubilee year, a ceremony called ‘Raising the Djed’ occurred, where a wooden Djed Pillar would be hauled upright by ropes during the same month of Chiok.
• Raising the Djed Pillar symbolised the rebirth of Osiris.
