Silifke

  • Silifke is a town located 79 miles (127km) west of Tarsus in the Mersin Province of southern Turkey.
  • It was known to the Romans as Seleucia ad Calycadnum and was located in the Province of Cilicia.

Museums

  • Silifke Museum
    • Located in Tasucu yolu, Silifke.
    • The museum holds column headings and sarcophagii in the outside grounds, while inside are statues and a collection of 5th century BCE coins from the Hellenistic period.
