The Rollright Stones

  • The Rollright Stones are a Bronze Age Monument located at Great Rollright (23 miles (37km) north of Oxford in the County of Oxfordshire.
  • They are dated to between the 4th – 2nd millenium BCE.

Description

  • The Monument consists of a Stone Circle known as the Kings Men Stone Circle.
  • On the opposite side of the road lies the King Stone.
  • A short walk away lies a Dolmen known as the Whispering Knights Dolmen.
