Vulcano

  • Vulcano is a small volcanic island that is part of the Aeolian Islands off the north coast of Sicily. It last erupted between 1888-1890 CE.
  • The word ‘Volcano’ comes from the island of Vulcano. It was named after the Roman God Vulcan, as the Romans believed it was the chimney of his smithy.
