- Windsor Great Park is a Royal Park with deer located to the south of the town of Windsor in Berkshire and Surrey.

Getting There
- The Park is near to Windsor Castle in Berkshire, 24 miles (39 km) west of London.
- The ruins are to be found on the south shore of Virginia Water and Blacknest road, where the junction of the A30 London Road meets Wentworth Drive.
- The nearest Rail Stations to the Ruins are Virginia Water and Sunningdale from Waterloo.
History
- The ruins were brought from Libya to the British Museum in 1816.
- Then in 1824 they were installed on the shore of Virginia Water to create a Victorian Folly known as ‘The Temple of Augustus’.
- The Roman Emperor Septimius Severus was born and raised in Leptis Magna, and financed the redevelopment of the city.
