- British Camp is a 2nd century BCE Iron Age Hill Fort.
- It is positioned at the summit of the Herefordshire Beacon in the Malvern Hills in the County of Worcestershire.
Description
- The Hill Fort has an elevation of 1,109 ft (338m) and is surrounded by a Ditch with an Inner and Outer Wall.
- The Walls perimeter extends for 6,800 ft (2,100m).
- The Summit commands panoramic views in every direction.
Caratacus
- Between 43-50 CE, Caratacus reigned as King of the Britons and led a successful British Resistance against the Roman Conquest of Britannia.
- But in 51 CE, Caratacus was defeated by Scapula in battle, the location of the battle is unknown, but it may have been British Camp.

The Malverns
- The Malvern Hills are located in the English Counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, overlooking the district of Malvern.
- The highest elevation us Worcestershire Beacon at 1,394ft (425m) giving a panoramic view over the Severn Valley, the Herefordshire Hills and the Welsh mountains, a view into thirteen counties, the Bristol Channel and the three Cathedrals of Worcester, Gloucester and Hereford.
- The Malverns are renowned for producing bottled spring water, and the Spa town of Great Malvern lies below them.
