Roman Site
- The Reckenberg Watchtower was reconstructed with a square base and thick stone walls following known Roman architectural dimensions.
- The entrance is on the first floor via a ladder that could be pulled up during an attack.
- The crew consisted of between five to fifteen legionaries.
- This tower formed part of a chain of towers along the Frontier, using signals between them to conduct fast communications.
