Termessos

  • The well preserved Ruins of Termessos are located in a mountain pass at an altitude of 3,280 feet (1,000m), 10 miles (17km) to the northwest of Antalya.
  • Termessos was in the Roman Province of Pamphylia. It was noted for being one of the few cities Alexander the Great failed to conquer.
