Titans

• In Greek Mythology, the Titans were an older generation of Giant Gods who possessed incredible strength and who lived on Mount Othrys in Greece. They were later replaced by the Twelve Olympians ho lived on Mount Olympus.
• The twelve most important Titans constituted the first Greek Pantheon (Temple of all Gods).

The Titanomachy

• In a ten year war called the ‘Titanomachy’, the Titans fought against the Twelve Olympians.
• The Titans were defeated and replaced by the Twelve Olympians who made their home on Mount Olympus.
